Tweaking Windows 11 Until It Begs For Mercy

It Looks Like You’re Disabling Copilot, Would You Like …

There are any number of tweaks you can make to Windows 11, including removing Copilot for the most part, but as Microsoft figures out what people are doing they actively search for ways to block these tweaks.  That has led to a huge number of posts on tweaking Windows 11, which quickly become out of date.  TweakTown have assembled a new compilation of the best tweaks to apply to Windows 11, either on a fresh install or one that has been around for a while.

The first part of their post describes what to do before you start tweaking, and unless you’re ready to wipe your machine and start fresh you should take their advice on backing up your system and Registry.  Once done, you can make the Start Menu more useful, get rid of the RAM hungry widgets running on your taskbar and get rid of a whole list of programs that start up when you log in for no good reason.  There is even a way to unlock Ultimate Performance under power plans for serious workstations that don’t deserve to sleep.

It’s a long list but worth the effort as you will have a much cleaner and more responsive system once you’re done.
