Microsoft’s Corporate Vice President of Design and Research on Windows, Marcus Ash, has commented on the company’s ongoing effort to modernize and reduce the memory footprint of Windows 11 for devices with low amounts of RAM.

Last week, Windows chief Pavan Davuluri confirmed the motion to optimize performance on Windows 11 for devices with 8GB RAM, and Marcus Ash has now broken down just how the company is planning to go about doing that.
