Microsoft 365 Family Deal: Save 47% with H&R Block Bundle

Microsoft 365 Family Deal: Save 47% with H&R Block Bundle

I track Microsoft 365 prices to ensure you never pay more than you have to for Office, OneDrive, and the rest of the suite. The deals haven’t been great lately, but a peculiar bundle gets you a year of Microsoft 365 Family for its old price.

Even if you have no interest in using the H&R Block tax software, this is a good deal. At $99.99, 12 months of Microsoft 365 Family in this bundle is more affordable than Microsoft 365 Family on its own.

I’ve used Microsoft Office for three decades. I track the price of Microsoft 365 to make sure you can always get the best deal on Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneDrive.

Is now a good time to subscribe to Microsoft 365?

Microsoft 365 deals are getting progressively harder to come by. Microsoft increased the price of Microsoft 365 last year. It’s taken some time, but that price hike has now made its way to third-party retailers, even during sales.

Even StackSocial is sold out of 12-month plans for Microsoft 365 Family (they still have stock of Microsoft 365 Personal). That retailer has held a spot on my best Microsoft 365 deals piece for ages, making the lack of stock noteworthy. It appears that discounts on Microsoft 365 will become rarer over time.

I suspect that even if we see discounts, they will be based on the new Microsoft 365 price. The Microsoft 365 Family bundle with H&R Block Tax Software Deluxe costs $99.99 for a year, which aligns with the old price of Microsoft 365.

That makes it a good time to buy a 12-month subscription to Microsoft 365 Family.

Microsoft 365 includes access to the Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and several other services. Outlook, OneNote, and Microsoft Defender all come with Microsoft 365 Family as well. Subscribers get 1TB of OneDrive cloud storage per user plus some perks in Clipchamp and Microsoft Designer.

I’ll be honest, I have never used H&R Block’s software. H&R Block Tax Software Deluxe + State 2025 receives positive reviews on several retailer websites, including Best Buy and Newegg.

The tax software also has several guarantees by H&R Block, including that you’ll get a maximum refund, be happy with the software, and that the results of the software will be accurate. H&R Block states that it will reimburse you for any resulting penalties and interest up to $10,000.

Those all seem like positives, but I am not a tax expert. I am an expert on Microsoft 365 deals. If you want the best price on Microsoft 365 Family, grab the current bundle from Newegg, even if you have no plans to use H&R Block’s tax software.
