Jetpack Cat memes are taking over Overwatch Season 1

Overwatch is having a bit a comeback right now, in no small thanks to it unshackling the 2 moniker and having a huge content injection including 5 new heroes to kick off it’s new season.

Despite the season only starting today, Overwatch’s Steam numbers have been impressive since the Blizzard showcase. Bearing in mind, Steam is only a tiny piece of the picture, given it’s primarily on Battle.net and console. But the thing I am most excited about is the new hero, Jetpack Cat.

Cats make everything better, and the internet clearly agrees. The character has taken on a life of its own across social media, with fans turning their own feline friends into high-flying Overwatch heroes.
