Microsoft is gearing up to host its annual Build developer conference this spring, and while this event is usually hosted in Seattle in the month of May, this year it looks like the company is planning to host the event in San Francisco in June instead.
Last year, Microsoft confirmed plans to move Build out of the Seattle area, citing homelessness and cleanliness of the area as one of the main reasons. The company said in a statement that “our plans for Build 2026 have changed, but our vision to empower builders and developers at a major event next year remains unchanged.”
