Make It microATX With The XPG VALOR Mesh Nano?
It’s prohibitively expensive for anyone to indulge in the hobby of PC building, with even older parts like HDDs and DDR4 soaring in price. The price of a new 2TB SSD isn’t quite as high as an entire system cost to build just a few years ago but it’s far closer than it should be. This makes it financially painful to contemplate a new system build and that can be quite frustrating.
There is something you could try that is like building a new PC, just without the joy of configuring new components. KitGuru recently built a new system with a fair number of ADATA parts to fill a $66 XPG VALOR Mesh Nano microSTX case. Seeing as how cases are one of the few remaining affordable components, perhaps this could be an outlet for the urge to build a new system. Instead of starting from scratch, you could grab a new case and transplant your components.
