Black Ops Cold War is the Call of Duty game you should be playing right now while waiting on Modern Warfare 4

I almost entirely skipped 2020’s Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. I’d pretty much done the same with 2019’s Modern Warfare because at the time, I wasn’t feeling the new look and feel after Black Ops 4.

I didn’t actually get any kind of mojo back until the launch of Black Ops 6, helped in large part because of Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision, and the arrival of Call of Duty into Xbox Game Pass.
