Nintendo has announced that all three main Xenoblade Chronicles games are getting Switch 2 Editions.
All three Switch 2 Editions will run at 4K resolution and 60 frames per second in TV mode, Nintendo confirmed. In handheld mode, they will run at 1080p and 60 frames per second.
In-game cutscenes will also have an enhanced resolution and improved frame rate.
New features are also being added to all three games.
Xenoblade Chronicles: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is available digitally today, with a physical version coming on July 30.
The Switch 2 Edition will get a new high-speed vehicle for traversing the land, new equipment designs and voice acting for heart-to-heart conversations.
This will be followed by Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, which will be release digitally on July 30 and physically on October 1.
The Switch 2 Edition lets players control Blades in new action battles, will include a new rare Blade and Blade Quest, and will feature new equipment designs for Pyra and Mythra.
Finally, Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will be released both digitally and physically on December 3.
This version will feature “new defensive battles against waves of enemies”, a new Hero and Hero Quest, and newly voiced event scenes.
The other main Xenoblade game, Wii U title Xenoblade Chronicles X, already got a Switch 2 Edition back in February.
