February is shaping up to be a stacked month regardless of platform, but on Xbox in particular, there is a lot to look forward to. From highly anticipated releases like Resident Evil Requiem to the newly released Dragon Quest VII Reimagined, the lineup covers a wide range of genres and audiences.
Below, I break down the biggest Xbox games arriving this month, alongside a few honourable mentions. We also highlight whether each game is available on Game Pass or supports Xbox Play Anywhere, so let’s jump right in.
Resident Evil Requiem
It will likely come as no surprise that Resident Evil Requiem takes the number one spot here. The game brings back Leon S. Kennedy, one of the most beloved characters in the series, and he returns very much in full force.
Alongside Leon, players are also introduced to a new playable character in Grace Ashcroft. Based on what has been shown so far, the game appears to switch between slower, more horror-driven sections and moments of high-intensity combat, with Leon handling much of the action while Grace struggles against the t-virus.
Resident Evil Requiem is set to launch on February 27, 2026, across Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
Despite recent editions from Capcom, Resident Evil Requiem is not currently set to be Xbox Play Anywhere or available through Xbox Game Pass.
Towerborne
After a lengthy early access period, Towerborne is finally set for full release, and as someone who loved Castle Crashers back in the day, that alone explains why it ranks so highly on my list.
Towerborne is a side-scrolling action RPG that blends beat ’em up combat with RPG progression. You fight through hordes of enemies using a variety of weapons and abilities, and it feels like a modern take on the Castle Crashers formula rather than a straight imitation.
I’ve been eagerly waiting for the full release so I can jump in with friends and start chasing achievements. Towerborne launches on February 26, 2026, across Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
Towerborne will be available on Xbox Game Pass on PC, Console and Cloud as well as being an Xbox Play Anywhere title.
Dragon Quest VII Reimagined
Dragon Quest VII Reimagined stands out as a reminder of why the series has endured for so long. It is a slower, more deliberate RPG than most modern releases, but that pacing works in its favour, especially for players who enjoy getting lost in long-form storytelling and character progression.
This remake keeps the classic turn-based combat intact while smoothing out some of the rough edges, and the vocation system gives you plenty of freedom to shape your party over time. It feels respectful to the original while still being approachable for anyone jumping in for the first time.
Reviews are already coming in, and it’s looking like a must-try, especially for existing fans of the franchise or even those who have always wanted to give Dragon Quest a go.
The game launches on February 5, 2026, for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
It will not, however, be available on Xbox Game Pass but the store page does list the game as Xbox Play Anywhere.
Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties
A modern reworking of Yakuza 3, Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties is another exciting release this month. The game centers on Kazuma Kiryu and his time in Okinawa, while sticking closely to the familiar Yakuza gameplay loop of brawling combat, story-driven missions, and side activity chaos.
This version brings more modern gameplay refinements and also includes Dark Ties, which is additional story content bundled alongside the remake to expand on the original experience.
Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties launches on February 11, 2026, across Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC, with Steam Deck support confirmed. It is not available on Xbox Game Pass or Xbox Play Anywhere.
High on Life 2
High on Life was a fun, slightly unhinged shooter created by the minds behind Rick and Morty, and it quickly became known for its wildly inappropriate humor. At its core, it is a first-person shooter filled with talking guns, absurd characters, and fast-paced combat.
If the sequel sticks close to what made the original work, there should be plenty of laughs here, whether it is mocking other genres or poking fun at itself. The only thing it still feels like it is missing is co-op, but that is more a personal preference than a deal breaker.
High on Life 2 will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2 at a later date, and PC. It will also launch on February 13, 2026, with support for Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Play Anywhere.
MY HERO ACADEMIA: All’s Justice
Forgive me for being a bit of a weeb here, but as someone who has watched My Hero Academia for close to a decade, this one was always going to catch my attention. The long-running anime and manga series is getting another game, and while this is not the first time the franchise has made that jump, MY HERO ACADEMIA: All’s Justice looks like a genuinely fun entry.
For anyone unfamiliar with My Hero Academia, the series is built around people born with quirks, essentially superpowers, and how society has adapted around them. The story centres on a school that trains future heroes, including one character who, despite lacking a quirk, still wants to become a hero.
All’s Justice is an arena fighter, with combat built around each character’s quirk and playstyle. From what has been shown so far, it leans into fast, flashy battles and familiar faces, which should make it an easy win for fans of the series.
MY HERO ACADEMIA: All’s Justice launches on February 6, 2026, across Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. It is not available on Xbox Game Pass or Xbox Play Anywhere.

Styx: Blades of Greed

This third entry continues the stealth-focused gameplay of the Styx series, with vertical environments, freedom of approach, and an emphasis on planning.
Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma
Although Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma was released in 2025 on PC, it’s releasing on Xbox this month. The game is a hybrid life-sim and action RPG in the long-running Rune Factory franchise and is definitely worth checking out.
Tiny Biomes

Tiny Biomes is a creative tile-rotation puzzle adventure where you guide elements like water, snow, and lava to restore areas, earning up to three stars in each level.
Starsand Island
Starsand Island is a life simulation with farming, ranching, and exploration. Its Early Access launch on February 11, 2026 will let players experience core systems well ahead of the full summer release.
