OpenAI is reportedly in initial talks with investors to raise funds, which could push its market valuation to approximately $750 billion. According to sources familiar with the ongoing deliberations, the company wants to raise up to $100 billion from investors (via The Information).

For context, if the deal goes through, OpenAI could see its market valuation jump by 50% from the reported $500 billion in October, following the sale of $6.6 billion in shares from current and former staff.

Reported investors in the deal include SoftBank, Thrive Capital, Dragoneer Investment Group, Abu Dhabi‑backed MGX, and T. Rowe Price.
