TGA: Expedition 33 won 9 awards including Game of the Year

Woe, Game Awards 2025 has come and gone.

The latest installment in the annual awards show flew by, with a number of massive games nominated across the board while building towards the final reveal for which title is taking Game of the Year. I kept track of all the winners as they were announced, so take a look.

While many games were honored throughout the night, developer Sandfall Interactive’s debut title Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 swept many of the awards, with the developers launching the previously-promised update for the game at the conclusion of the ceremony.
